Accomplished storyteller, commercial director and native New Yorker. She has collected over 200 industry awards including an Emmy, directed hundreds of commercials and long form content. Jill has also directed many short films; and several features. She has written two scripts, one of which is development.
Salvino has directed TAKING IT FOR GRANTED, which screened at The Big Apple Festival and won Best Drama at NYC’s Downtown Film Festival. She wrote and directed LIES PEOPLE TELL, which Premiered at The San Pedro Film Festival and was chosen by the New York Women in Film and Television as one of their top shorts of the year.
As an invited director, her two contributions as director of THE SONNET PROJECT #74 & #153 Premiered at The Queens World International Film Festival and are on tour as part of The New York Shakespeare project. My Invisible Backpack is part of the NY school system.
Hundreds of commercials, video content and her feature directorial debut of Between the Shades continues to charm audiences & spark conversations in The New York Times.
