The Pride of Asbury is an experimental film by filmmaker Jill Salvino that picks up where Between the Shades left off.  From the Pride Parade, LGBT baby showers to intimate dinners with friends, Jill has been documenting all of the celebrations of community that flourish in Asbury Park New Jersey.  Jill and her wife Susan are surrounded by a community that gives. And gives. And also take care of their own. Years of background footage mixed with love stories intro all of the folks in love as well as the really terrific LGBT businesses, music, art and community this is the fiber of Asbury Park.

Asbury Park NJ is known for art, music and the LGBT community. Lesbians, Gays and Trans couples are having babies and living life. We all support each other.

This film captures the events and lives, that are surrounded by love.
